For server owners

Admin controls

Coral works out of the box the moment you add it. When you want to tune it, every feature is a slash-command toggle: mute a channel, turn features on or off, opt into trending auto-posts or idle games.

Who can run these

Admin commands are admin-only. On Discord you need the Manage Channels permission; on Telegram you must be a chat admin. /play is the exception: anyone can start a game where games are enabled. Changes take effect shortly (within about 5 minutes).

Every admin command at a glance

Coral is ready the moment you add it. Out of the box it cards tickers, answers Ask Coral, archives chat, and records intel. Most servers never change a thing. The full set of levers:

CommandWhat it does
/silent on|offPer-channel. Mute Coral's $TICKER auto-replies in the current channel (slash commands + reactions still work).
/ask-coral on|offServer-wide. The conversational @-mention / /ask answers. Default on.
/coral-archive on|offServer-wide. Chat archiving (powers caller tracking + trending). Default on.
/coral-intel on|offServer-wide. Community intel signals. Default on.
/language scope:serverServer-wide. Set the default language Coral replies in. Members can still pick their own with /language.
/setca <address>Admin-only. Save this community's project contract address, echoed whenever anyone types /ca.
/buybot on|off|min <usd>|sells on|offAdmin-only. Post a live card on every buy of your community's token: amount spent, buyer, market cap, a 24h price chart, volume and liquidity, and a Buy Now button, plus the Coral Score, the first-call receipt, and the member's name when the buyer is linked. Set the token with /setca first. on | off | min <usd> | sells on|off. Solana and Base.
/setlinks website=… x=… tg=… chart=…Admin-only. Save this community's project links (website, X, Telegram, chart), shown whenever anyone runs /links.
/announce <message>Post a formatted announcement card to the current channel through Coral. Add pin to pin it. Admins and mods, one per hour per group.
/trending-autopost [type] on|offPer-channel, opt-in. Trending cards when the channel is quiet, plus breaking alerts when a token moves across the network. Types: tokens, list, tips, breaking. Turning auto-post on enables breaking alerts too; mute just those with breaking off.
/games [type] on|offPer-channel, opt-in. Idle games. Types: trivia, emoji, counting, hilo, ticker, wordle (or autoprompt). Default off.
/play [game]Anyone (not admin-only). Start a game in a games-enabled channel.
/games leaderboardAnyone (not admin-only). Show this server's top players by points.
/raid <x-link> …Rally the community on an X post. See the Raids page for options.
/welcome on|off|set|reset|showPer-server, opt-in. Greet new members when they join, with a custom message or the default. Default off.
/admin-helpAnyone. List every admin command for setting Coral up in this server.

Telegram vs Discord naming

Telegram uses underscores, Discord uses hyphens: /ask_coral vs /ask-coral, /trending_autopost vs /trending-autopost. /games, /play, and /silent are the same on both.

The basics

Quiet a noisy channel

/silent on mutes Coral's auto-replies in the current channel. Handy if another bot already cards tickers there. /silent off brings it back.

Everything is a toggle

Server-wide features (/ask-coral, /coral-archive, /coral-intel) are all on by default and reversible at any time.

Trending auto-posts (opt-in)

Off by default. Run /trending-autopost on in the channel you want Coral to post in, and when that channel goes quiet Coral drops an idle-fill card. Turning it on also switches on breaking alerts (the coupled real-time card). It posts to the channel you ran the command in; run it again elsewhere to move the target.

CommandWhat it does
/trending-autopostToggle all trending auto-posts on or off in this channel.
/trending-autopost on|offEnable or disable every card type.
/trending-autopost <type> on|offToggle one type: tokens, list, tips, or breaking alerts.e.g. /trending-autopost list off
/trending-autopost breaking on|offBreaking alerts ride along and are on by default once auto-post is on. Mute just them with breaking off, keeping your trending cards.e.g. /trending-autopost breaking off

Three idle card types plus breaking alerts, each toggleable:

  • tokens. The default: a single trending token card, the bulk of the rotation.
  • list. An occasional “Trending” top-list (at most a couple a day, only when there's fresh data).
  • tips. An occasional Coral how-to card surfacing features like $rand, /chart, and the card reaction buttons.
  • breaking. On by default once auto-post is on. When a token is suddenly moving across the network, Coral drops a card in this channel. Mute just these with /trending-autopost breaking off.

Idle games (opt-in)

Keep a slow channel alive

Off by default. /games on in a channel turns on light games people can play solo or together: trivia, emoji guess, counting, hi-lo, guess-the-ticker, and a wordle. Anyone starts one with /play.
CommandWhat it does
/gamesToggle all games on or off in this channel.
/games on|offEnable or disable every game type.
/games <game> on|offToggle one game: trivia, emoji, counting, hilo, ticker, or wordle.e.g. /games trivia on
/games autoprompt on|offWhether Coral offers a game when the channel is quiet. On by default once games are on.
/play [game]Anyone can start a game. Omit the game for a random enabled one.
/games leaderboardAnyone can view this server's top players by points.

Examples

/games on turns on every game. /games wordle off turns just wordle off. /games autoprompt off keeps games on-demand only (no nudges). /play trivia starts trivia now.

Full list of games and how each plays: Idle games.

Welcome new members (opt-in)

Off by default. Run /welcome on in the channel you want greetings in, and Coral posts a message when someone new joins. Until you set your own, it uses a friendly default. Run it again elsewhere to move the target; /welcome off turns it back off.

CommandWhat it does
/welcome onTurn the welcome on and greet new members in this channel.
/welcome offTurn the welcome off (keeps any saved message).
/welcome set <message>Save a custom message. Placeholders are supported (see below).e.g. /welcome set welcome {user} 👋
/welcome resetClear the custom message and use the default.
/welcome showShow the current setting and the message that posts.

Placeholders

In your message, {user} mentions (pings) the new member and {name} shows their name without a ping. For example: /welcome set welcome {user} 👋.

Announce through Coral

Post an announcement to the group through Coral. An admin or mod runs /announce with the message, and Coral drops a clean branded card in the channel. Add pin on Telegram, or the pin option on Discord, to pin it. Open to admins and mods, and capped at one announcement per hour per group so it stays a signal.
